Poole Knobs Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and wooded sites, many of which are located by the water, providing great views and access to lake activities. This is our fourth year to come with a group to Poole knobs for a long weekend. The campground is always neat and well kept. The hosts are always very kind. There is a Walmart close by to pick up any supplies. You may have forgotten. Plenty of parks and restaurants within a 20 minute drive.

Very nice campsites, kind of hard to get to the bath house from some of the loops. The bath houses were well maintained and clean. The overall experience was great.

Very nice campground, our space was pull through and had enough room for RV, truck and boat! Park was well shaded with trees and had a good boat ramp and parking area. Cellular service was good (AT&T).

We read many reviews that said the sites were very unlevel. We said, "how bad could it be?" Well, our original site was a very long site, but it was all downhill. There was less than 10 feet of flat at the bottom of the site by the concrete picnic table and fire ring.
Please read all reviews for the site you are selecting. Also, do not trust the pictures, they do not show the actual slope of some of these sites.
The area is beautiful and quiet. It's a great place to walk!

Great campground on the lake! Large sites. No sewer, but a dump station. 30 minutes to Nashville.
