Get location but the over grown trees and under growth of vegetation was ridiculous
We could not enjoy the nights because of the bugs brought by the high grass , vegetation and the over growth of trees
We could not see the water from site, even though it stated water front site because of the trees
Some trees on the road into the site hung over the road and hit campers
The sites need to mowed more frequent and vegetation needs to be bush hogged to reduce the big problem of bugs

Loved our stay here. Large sites, easily accessible because most are pull through, and right on the water. Peaceful, lots of wildlife. Sites were a bit unlevel, but that was just a fun challenge for my first trip.

It was very nice as always have been going for the past 8 years. However my normal spot was not open so was slightly off on how we camp out.

I was there on 09/25/2019 and 09/26/2019. This campground is my second choice to Seven Points on J. Percy Priest Lake. The layout of the campground makes it inconvenient to get to the restroom/bathhouse. It is a long walk around on the road. There is no path through the forest to get there. If you want to drive, you have to unhitch your car from your trailer. Very unpleasant in the heat of the summer. I only stay there if I can't get into Seven Points. Other than that, it is a pretty forested campground and all sites have a view of the lake.

We stayed at site #3 which according to the map was close to the bath-house. In all actuality it was about a 1/2 mile walk up two hills to get to the nearest bathroom which was not enjoyable when traveling with 6 children. In addition, in order to get into this site you must back up a steep hill onto the pad. The scenery was beautiful, but this is not a campground we would return to.

Their sites are very wooded, with plenty of space to park your boat if bringing one. The boat ramp in the campground is very convenient. It was very quiet at night, and the staff was very friendly, overall a great place to camp!

From downtown Nashville, TN, take I-40 east to I-24 east. After 15 miles take exit 66B and turn right onto Sam Ridley Parkway. Turn right onto Highway 41 north, and after about 1.5 miles turn right onto Fergus Road. Make another right onto Jones Mill Road and follow the signs to the campground after 4 miles.

4.6 mi drive to downtown Lavergne (about 10 min)

General
- Two tents or one tent and one RV are permitted per campsite. Multi-family sites allow double the amount of tents and RVs.
- No designated swimming area or beach is provided at this campground.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- Two vehicles allowed per site. Multi-family sites allow four cars per site.
- Skunks frequent the area; store food in approved containers.
- $5 fee per vehicle for guests of campers.
- Firewood quarantines are in effect. Firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Help protect our forests by purchasing or collecting firewood at or near your camping destination and burning it on-site. Click Here for more information.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Camping limit is 14 days in any 30-consecutive-day period on J. Percy Priest Lake. This rule applies to all campgrounds combined.
- No drive-thrus on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
- Wifi is NOT provided at this campground.
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water.
