Beautiful location on the lake. Fabulous staff in the office. Showeres and toilets clean. Some RV sites are not level. It would be great to level those up.

I absolutely had a fabulous time. My campsite was perfect. My only suggestion/wish is that there was a trail from my side of the campground up to the bath house. I could see it through the woods but no way to walk there.

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the campground. Our only problem was the campsite wasn’t very flat. We had our tent on a slight incline and slide through the night.
Otherwise, this campsite site is great!

It a good campground clean campsites and clean bathrooms and showers and friendly staff because I stay off and on for couple days at different campsites though out this place and it has wonderful swimming spots by the lake

The park needs a open community area for campers not on the lake to access the lake

Plot 69 is no good. It’s very narrow relative to the other plots and there is no good flat ground for the tent. The plots on either side are a better pick.
It’s convenient to be near the bathrooms but be aware that they get a lot of traffic at night. Loud trucks with high beams and small groups were coming by well past midnight. That’s understandable but if you have dogs with you then you’re in for a long night of “we’re under attack”!

Staff were very Friendly, Roads were in great shape and wide enough to navigate larger rigs. Most campsites were nice with fire ring, grills but no lantern pole. Our Campsite was however, on a 10 to 15 degree slope.
Everything slid of the table. The only area at our site that was somewhat level was where we parked. I would recommend reserving a lakeside site.
The Showers and bathrooms where clean.
But out of 2 showers, One of the Mens showers needs a shower valve replacement.
We camped in June and the biting insects were everywhere, bring repellent.
Park didn’t get quiet until around midnight.
We reserved two nights, only stayed one. I would stay here again but come prepared.

I come to Poole Knobs twice a year. I just love it here! Ive stayed on 32 34 60 41 42. I love the water front sites that allow me to dock my pontoon boat close to the camper. The people that run the camp ground have always been just great to me. Yes, you have to abide by the rules. If you are supposed to leave at 12? Well, thats the rules. lol See yall in September!!

Beautiful. The trees are lush and the mountains are breathtaking. You will not leave here disappointed. The campground is well kept.

From downtown Nashville, TN, take I-40 east to I-24 east. After 15 miles take exit 66B and turn right onto Sam Ridley Parkway. Turn right onto Highway 41 north, and after about 1.5 miles turn right onto Fergus Road. Make another right onto Jones Mill Road and follow the signs to the campground after 4 miles.

4.6 mi drive to downtown Lavergne (about 10 min)
Policies & Rules
General
- Two tents or one tent and one RV are permitted per campsite. Multi-family sites allow double the amount of tents and RVs.
- No designated swimming area or beach is provided at this campground.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- Two vehicles allowed per site. Multi-family sites allow four cars per site.
- Skunks frequent the area; store food in approved containers.
- $5 fee per vehicle for guests of campers.
- Firewood quarantines are in effect. Firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Help protect our forests by purchasing or collecting firewood at or near your camping destination and burning it on-site. Click Here for more information.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Camping limit is 14 days in any 30-consecutive-day period on J. Percy Priest Lake. This rule applies to all campgrounds combined.
- No drive-thrus on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
- Wifi is NOT provided at this campground.
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water.
