We had a good stay. This time we got a site with a concrete pad. That was nice. Parking area for RV was pretty level on this site. Some sites are not very level. Its a hilly area so its a challenge to make them level. They really need Wi-Fi for their customers. Cell service was good.

Overall, it seemed like a nice campground! We only stayed for a night and we got there fairly late, so we weren't really able to fully experience what the campground had to offer. It appeared clean though, with spacious sites, plenty of shade, and plenty of sites with lake access. Our site was on a bit of a slope, so it was a little challenging to get our rv to level, but we ended up getting it worked out and had a nice stay! Would definitely stay here again

The site was not leveled a all and it was heavily wooded and the view was ok the bathrooms they were little bit far on steep hill but they were clean

We were so excited to camp here. The pics looked beautiful and it’s close to home. We pull up to our site and there wasn’t even room to put our tent. It was all on a slope so none of the land wAs even. And it was barely a site to begin with. Called to ask if we could switch and the man was a smart butt and told me “well it’s a primitive site”
No duh but you still need level land to put a tent. Skunks are incredibly awful there. We only stayed one night and left even tho we payed for two. Just an awful campground unless you want to get right by the water in a camper. Still there’s nothing to do around the area. Usually don’t leave bad reviews but this one was awful

My camp stay was very nice. I had a pull through site that was easy to get in and set up.

It was very pretty I kayaked on the lake for 3 hours and got wonderful pictures including a green heron.
Campsites were nice and showers clean.
But they should warn you about the falling seed pods. Big and heavy. I heard them hitting things but wasn't sure what they were. I ended up with two dents on the hood of my car.

Great hosts. Very nice campsites some better than others. Lots of group sites with water and electric. Tough approach though. Have to enter a residential area with narrow streets. Lots of low hanging trees on the Corp of engineers side of the road shortly after turning down Fergus road. When dry they are not bad...when wet they grab everything. Further on lots of low hangers on both sides.

From downtown Nashville, TN, take I-40 east to I-24 east. After 15 miles take exit 66B and turn right onto Sam Ridley Parkway. Turn right onto Highway 41 north, and after about 1.5 miles turn right onto Fergus Road. Make another right onto Jones Mill Road and follow the signs to the campground after 4 miles.

4.6 mi drive to downtown Lavergne (about 10 min)

General
- Two tents or one tent and one RV are permitted per campsite. Multi-family sites allow double the amount of tents and RVs.
- No designated swimming area or beach is provided at this campground.
- No off-road vehicles permitted.
- Two vehicles allowed per site. Multi-family sites allow four cars per site.
- Skunks frequent the area; store food in approved containers.
- $5 fee per vehicle for guests of campers.
- Firewood quarantines are in effect. Firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Help protect our forests by purchasing or collecting firewood at or near your camping destination and burning it on-site. Click Here for more information.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- Camping limit is 14 days in any 30-consecutive-day period on J. Percy Priest Lake. This rule applies to all campgrounds combined.
- No drive-thrus on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
- Wifi is NOT provided at this campground.
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water.
