What Guests Are Saying
Poole Knobs Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and wooded sites, many of which are located by the water, providing great views and access to lake activities. While some campers noted issues with site leveling and maintenance, the overall atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, with friendly staff and clean facilities. Despite a few negative experiences with park attendants and minor inconveniences, many visitors express a strong desire to return and appreciate the campground’s charm.

Very well kept! Every day as someone leaves they come and clean the site. Bathrooms weren’t the greatest but doable.

We only stayed 1 night, passing through. Park is clean, wooded, staff are friendly. Large spots. We plan on coming back and staying longer.

Tent site was at an angle, no flat area to put the tent.

Beautifully spaced out sites. Bathroom is a bit inconveniently far but fine if you drive your car to it. The worst part was both nights we woke up in the middle of the night with strong skunk spray. No wifi, but with Verizon I did get a decent amount of signal. Beautiful place tho, just skunky smelly.

Nice campground with well spaced shady sites. Many sites are water front. Good base for exploring the Nashville area.

We absolutely loved this campground. It is very private and your not piled on top of each other.

I've camp there many times over the years with friends. Now that I have my own camper, I can come more often. I would like to recommend how nice it would be if the Poole Knob campground would be open from April to October.
