What Guests Are Saying
Poole Knobs Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious, and wooded sites, many of which are located by the water, providing great views and access to lake activities. While some campers noted issues with site leveling and maintenance, the overall atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, with friendly staff and clean facilities. Despite a few negative experiences with park attendants and minor inconveniences, many visitors express a strong desire to return and appreciate the campground’s charm.

We've been staying at this campground for several years and normally our experiences have been good. Site 28 needs attention. It rained the week we were there and due to lack of gravel it was an absolute mess!

Great area, Lots of area to move around when parking my travel trailer. Great bathrooms, hot showers. Lots of the spots closer to the water where concrete pad sites, and concrete steps to get to the water.

Campsite was clean with good tree coverage. The area has easy lake access and is in a very good location for doing stuff around the Nashville area!

Friendly people and well kept camping area. Bathrooms are far from sites and require travel by car by most but are very well maintained and up dated compared to bathrooms in NY state! Nashville area has many things to do as well at Gatlinburg if you're up for the drive.

Staff are very rude. We’ve been camping here for years and have never been treated so rudely.
