Sycamore Lake Campground

I love how quite and small the campground is. We stayed right on the lake which was so convenient to have our kayaks and to walk right to the shore to fish. Bathrooms were very clean. The only complaint that I have is there was a lot of broken glass in the grass between our camper and the lake, large enough to cut a pet paw or a foot open. So watch where you are stepping. I picked up several pieces that could have cut someone’s foot wide open.

We had a lovely long weekend at Sycamore Lake Campground. We were on Site#1 and the view was superb. The only drawback to that site was that it is next to the boat ramp and it has some traffic. It wasn’t bad in October, but might be busier in Summer. Our host, Bonnie was on top of things and checked with us daily to see if everything was okay. The campground was well maintained except for some broken glass along the lake. The bathhouses were very clean. I saw someone come each day to service them. We enjoyed it so much we are already thinking about a trip back when we will stay longer!

This campground is absolutely perfect for families! My husband and I took our two small children to stay the weekend and it could not have been more perfect! I have been camping my entire life and have never seen a campground so clean and safe for children! We will definitely be back! Thanks for helping Families like ours make wonderful memories! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

very nice spot. quiet. clean. great water pressure in the bath house and at the site so make sure you have an rv water pressure regulator or your hot water tank will leak. Will definitely be back.

Family weekend! Ages 8 months to 63 years old, a great relaxed weekend was had by all. The sites were large and super clean, we stayed lakeside on site 14. My 8 yr old grandson fished all weekend he caught so many fish and released them all. The bathrooms are huge and super clean, the showers huge and the water pressure and temp was marvelous. We’ll be back. We understand the campground is new and the hosts are hard at work making more improvements.
