This was the perfect campground: quiet, beautiful, shaded sites with enough space between them, clean bathrooms, peaceful! Highly recommend! Lovely employees and campers.

The park wont let you check in even if your site is empty. So dont even show up till three! Not even helpful with things to do to waste time while you wait. I have volunteered for the US corps before and the policy aways was if your site is empty go check in! We lost an hour during travel due to time change so now what to do for 2.5 hours. Park looks nice.

Nice campground near Nashville TN. The sites are large and the entire campground is pretty much shade. The sites are set up mostly for rv’s; we had a tent. Our site was #41, right on the lake, which was great!

The driveway was pretty long and it was a back-in type. Concrete pad at the end with electric and water right there. Walk down about 8 steps to a nice concrete patio with a large round concrete table, so we couldn’t put stakes n the ground to hold our canopy down. There wasn’t a great place to pitch the tent close to the table area so we found a relatively level spot nearby. The 50’ cord I brought wouldn’t reach the tent.

The campground itself is very quiet, but it is within earshot of the Nashville airport, so that added background noise. We could hear the bass of loud music from across the lake on Friday night. At dusk the air filled with some kind of bugs hatching that didn’t bite but they were quite annoying. (Early April)

The bathrooms were clean and in pretty good shape. The showers were awesome!

We had to leave one day early because of a storm that was blowing in—it took our tarp down and was working on moving our tent to another site.

All in all, I’d go back, but not as a camping destination. It’s a great place to stay if you need to stay in Nashville for something without spending a fortune on a room. The campground hosts were very nice and helpful.

Never got to see the campground. We drove an hour and a half to see the area to see if it was worth the drive. We stopped at the gate and was told we weren’t allowed to drive through just to look at the grounds. The weekends are the only time we have to check out new camping areas that we have to drive that far to see.
We have driven campgrounds all over the world and never been told we couldn’t drive around and look. How rude!
Needless to say the lady at the gate and her attitude made our decision that we will not bother even trying to camp there.
If this winds up being an old deserted campground in the future, it won’t be a surprise.

We chosen seven points as our stop by overnight stay along our trip to Utah. It has perfect location next to a lake and near highway. The sites are clean, spacious, and budget-friendly. Without prior knowledge of the campground, we reserved site 3, not realizing other lakeside sites were also available. Site 3 has a curved driveway, making parking tricky, and cellphone signal is nearly nonexistent. Despite these challenges, we enjoyed our stay.
