We camped here in our personal travel trailer. The campground was easy to find. The staff at the entrance were extremely friendly and helpful. The campground was easy to navigate, and the spots were much larger than I expected them to be. The bathrooms, dumpsters, and dump stations were located conveniently throughout the park. The grounds were clean. The beach was the highlight for my family. My children didn’t want to leave the beach at all. The swimming area stays fairly shallow, and that gave me peace of mind as a parent. We loved the access to fishing and kayaking, as well. A town is located near by in case you forgot anything. We have AT&T, and we had no cell service 95% of the time. For some, that’s wonderful, but I figured I’d throw that in this review just for others to know. We had the best time there this weekend, and we will be back in the future!

We absolutely love this place. It is well kept and beautiful views. The workers are amazing and the bathrooms are clean! Great place for kids to ride bikes. They recently put in horse shoes by the picnic area that you can play. You get the horse shoes, corn hole boards and basket balls at the checking station. Affordable and close to town.

We love the RV’s at Barton Springs. We have utilized them multiple times. Staying in them allows us the opportunity to bring our family with us to enjoy the lake. The staff has always been helpful every time we come. We are booked again in July for a birthday trip for one of our grown sons. He loves it there. Rumor running amuck is the RV’s may be pulled. We sure hope not as this allows us a space for our family.

The actual campground is awesome. The ownership and staff are terrible and do not make me want to come back. Unfortunately because its so close to my house we will likely be back but god forbid your dog barks

We love the location for camping but when family visited the campsite they were charged a daily entry fee per car. I think it was $10 per car. Tim’s Ford campground does not charge these fees.
