a great site for tent camping mid-week - no other tents in close proximity, so nice and quiet (which wouldn't be the case on a busy weekend). nice clean facilities. lots of hiking trails. good cell reception

Could possibly be the best campground in Tennessee. Clean and level sites. Quiet. Loop B was my preferred but the tent loop without power has many big open level private sites. So many hiking and biking trails. Need about a week to really experience the area. Landscaping, pool, fire pits, bathrooms, and trails all in excellent condition. Without doubt the best showers you will every see a a campground. Clean.

Clean campsite, easy access to bathroom and showers, and clear mapping for hikes and other attractions. We happened to go during the annual storytelling event and that was enjoyable to attend. Only downside was a noisy neighbor that we eventually talked to and they did quiet down. Never know if drunk neighbors will be easy to deal with so it would be nice to have a way to contact rangers after hours to deal with potential problems.

My favorite place. Spacious sites, super clean bathrooms every single day, excellent facilities, fun hikes, great vegetation. I have camped always on A area, and absolutely love it; either alone or with company, I always feel safe there, remote in a comfortable manner. Totally the best! The gift shop also has helpful and friendly staff, and cool things. Nice hikes outside of the campground also within a few minutes!

it would have been nice for the camp store to have been open for minor essentials. Otherwise, a beautiful campground.
