As usual the camp ground and sites were wonderful. It would have been a good idea for someone to go around and check occasionally because the people in A37 did all their cooking on the bathroom porch, using the electric outlet to cook with a toaster oven. We felt they should have paid for a site with electricity instead of alway being on the bathroom porch, which wasn't appropriate.

We had a wonderful time at Bandy Creek Campground! There are many sights to see within a short drive and lots of trails to explore. Three of our favorite sights in the nearby area were Blue Heron Mining Community, Yahoo Falls with it’s massive rock shelter, & the Twin Arches, which are an incredible sight. We had problems with our toilet in our trailer & had to keep our water shut off a good portion of the time, so I was very pleased to find the restroom/bath house was very clean and heated! (The morning temperatures were in the 40°s.) Seven other couples from our church camped with us and we all agreed we had a wonderful experience at Bandy and hope to come back again. (We live in southwest Tennessee, outside of Memphis.)

We love Bandy Creek for camping and for hiking. Be sure to hike Angel Falls Trail and Leatherwood Ford Overlook Trail. Both are pretty easy. If you want more of a challenge then go for Honey Creek Trail.

Campsites are spacious and have privacy between each one. The bathhouses are especially clean with LOADS of hot water and great water pressure! The camp store and visitor center are a BONUS and we enjoyed spending time learning about the area from the park ranger! The hike to the Twin Arches was a highlight -- absolutely gorgeous. We will go back!
