This was a very nice Campground with a visitor center and Camp Store nearby. Shower house was also pretty decent and as clean as can be expected for all the use it gets. Good water pressure and hot showers.
We have Consumers Cellular and had phone service but no data... but no big deal.

I went mostly to this campground so that I could hike the twin arches which I thought was awesome. But what stood out to me more than that was the friendliness of the people. Russ at the entrance gate went above and beyond the call of duty to help me in every way. In our world today of everyone being in a hurry, his taking his time to give me information is what made staying at this campground so pleasurable. His kindness was so refreshing. Gayle at the store was also super helpful. Camping there was overall a great experience because of these people.

This entire campground is awesome, especially this little loop of sites in D. Spaces are private, spacious and close to bathrooms. The grounds are very clean, bathrooms are kept up and showers are available. Hosts are super sweet, and we are planning a third trip here we love it so much. Water widely available, and shade. Everything you could need (firewood and ice) at the camp store up the road, which is fun to bike to! The kids love the playgrounds, the grounds are walkable and bike friendly - abundance of beautiful trails and things to see. Angel Falls, Twin Arches etc.

This was our first stay at Bandy Creek Campground. We had visited Big South Fork before, but stayed at a different campground. We were pleased with the spaciousness and privacy of the campsite, the quietness of the campground (last week in May), proximity of hiking trails, and proximity of other hiking trails accessed with a short drive to the trailhead. The fact that pets are allowed on the trails is another plus. We will definitely return.

What an incredible experience. Fireflies at night and lush green forest during the day. Wonderful trails, overlooks, and clean bathrooms. Will definitely stay here again.

The Bandy Creek Campground offers large private campsites. Shower and toilets are close to most campsites. The cost of buying firewood is very reasonable.

Bandy Creek is always beautiful, clean, and well organized. We use the stables for our horses, which I love. The trails are right here, and you can ride or hike as far as you like. We come every year.

Bandy Creek Campground is accessible via US Highway 27, which is approximately 12 miles to the west. The campground is also within reach of Interstate 75, located roughly 25 miles to the east.

Arrival & departure
- Travelers should exercise caution on Highway 297 due to steep grades and curves; an alternate route is recommended for those uncomfortable with these conditions.

- Horse stall reservations are required and can be made by phone or online; they are separate from campground reservations.
