Second time at Bandy Creek. Only annoyance was the bright lights that some other campers in RVs put around their campsites. I'm not sure why you come to a campground and put up security lights.

Nice campground but sites are close to each other with no visual barriers between them. Paved level pads. Most have large well maintained gravel tent pads/living areas.

Beautiful campground with lots of trails to explore from easy to advanced. The road into the campground can be rather challenging for a novice. 13% grade and numerous switchbacks make for an interesting welcome!

Excellent camp ground. While we didn't get to enjoy the area, it was raining, windy and cold, we still enjoyed the area. Can't wait to go back and actually explore the area.

Bandy Creek Campground is accessible via US Highway 27, which is approximately 12 miles to the west. The campground is also within reach of Interstate 75, located roughly 25 miles to the east.

Arrival & departure
- Travelers should exercise caution on Highway 297 due to steep grades and curves; an alternate route is recommended for those uncomfortable with these conditions.
Wildlife & food storage
- To prevent wildlife encounters, secure all food and scented items properly and maintain a clean campsite.
Fees & deposits
- Horse stall reservations are required and can be made by phone or online; they are separate from campground reservations.

- Caution is advised when camping in this area due to potential falling branches.

- Fishing in the main river requires a valid Tennessee or Kentucky fishing license.
