Wow.....clean, quiet, great customer service.
This place opened October 2024 and is absolutely beautiful and getting better. 3 playgrounds, bouncy house, 2 dog parks that amazingly, people are keeping clean, basketball and pickle ball courts with, yes, equipment to play, laundry facilities and......no restrictions on dogs, just owner responsibilities like keeping them leashed and under control, controlling barking, you know, responsibilities of a dog parent.

The sites are great, some near rivers edge, others in open, trees are new and still need to grow for shade. There is also river access behind site for fishing, tubing, swimming, but, ALL DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Each site has fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic bench, sites are gravel and fairly level. Multi-amp hookups, water and sewer also. WiFi good enough to stream TV without issues.daily trash pickup at YOUR site between 10-11a.m.

Owners are constantly doing things around the area, cleaning charcoal grills with actual cleaners and wire brushes, cleaning weeds around fire pits etc, always making sure your experience is great.

Owners are friendly and very helpful with anything from campgrounds to local area, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg.

We stayed a week and will definitely be back.

New campground so not a lot of shade. Once the trees mature that were planted, it will be great. Check-in was quick and easy. We had a spot on the River which was so nice. You can fish, tube or wade if you want, but bring water shoes. Would love to see a pool the next time we visit 😆

One of the best restrooms I’ve seen at a campground in Tennessee & Georgia so far. They finally adopted that separate toilet + shower room concept I’ve seen in Korea and Japan, instead of the usual open shared public restroom setup in the US. Super clean too, and it just feels a lot safer and more comfortable, almost like being at home.

Check-in was smooth and easy, and reserving online was simple too. The staff is really nice. they come by in the morning to pick up trash from your tent site. Each campsite has a nice high charcoal grill set and everything is well maintained. Cell signal is good and they even have wifi which was a nice bonus. Their camp store has pretty much everything: firewood, ice, bug spray, water, soda, and they even have coin laundry.

The tent sites are shaded by trees and a bit small compared to state campgrounds and you’ll be pretty close to your neighbors, but they enforce quiet hours after 10PM so it’s not bad. It’s mostly RVs and they also have a baseball field and new pickleball courts. Plus you’re right next to the river, so waking up and having breakfast with that view made up for the smaller site. It’s close to the road so you’ll hear the occasional car passing by but honestly the price is reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend, especially for families with small kids or beginner campers.

My wife and I recently stayed at Uncle Jim’s River Cove Campground and had an excellent experience. This was our second visit, and it certainly won’t be our last. The overall impression was that the site is clean, accessible, and incredibly welcoming, with friendly and accommodating staff that made check-in smooth and easy. We stayed near the river, which provided a peaceful, relaxing backdrop, and the Riverside site offered a serene escape perfect for unwinding. The grounds were well-maintained and clean throughout, and accessibility was straightforward, making navigation around the campground simple. The people were extremely nice and helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests. This stay reaffirmed our fondness for the campground and we’re already looking forward to future visits. In short, it’s a calm, friendly campground experience that we highly recommend.

What a beautiful hidden gem! Just a short 15 minute ride to Dollywood, it's the perfect spot to enjoy nature and the peaceful river after a long day of riding rides and walking the park. We camped on the river in our family's rv but will definitely be returning to enjoy a rental rv for Labor Day! The area is quiet and peaceful. The facilities are very well thought out. Excellent bath house - clean, well-stocked, and temp controlled. The common areas are full of fun things to do - cornhole, bounce house, playground, and more. The sites are well spaced so as not to feel crowded by neighbors. I can't think of anything that would have made this a better stay! The river access is so nice and easy to get to. Great area for tubing, kayaking, fishing, or swimming. We cannot wait to visit again! Thanks Tanner for taking such pride in the property!
