What a Beautiful spot, the water was warm and the location was awesome. Definitely worth the drive from Michigan. We will be back, staff very friendly.

My husband and I come to this park for a few years and absolutely love it. I most co.e for the swimming area but the park is so clean and spacious. If your up early or coming in late you can see wild life at there best and lots of them.

The numbering system was confusing. The campground hosts went above and beyond to see us drive in and then drive around obviously "lost"/struggling to find our site. They rode their golf car over to us and helped me see where we were camping. So kind.
The campground is beautiful with wonderful views of the trees and lake. The bathrooms and showers were IMMACULATE! Hot water was terrific.

Camper in front of us was bumping sewer in the lake. Camp host were very rude and that makes the camping experience bad do to them not being nice.

The campsites had everything needed to have a great time. The hiking trail could better maintained as it was getting back to its primitive state.

I will not be back…I have been camping there 51 years and my mom so much longer and I have never seen it as bad as it is.And other family who camp there will not be back either.We will be going somewhere else for now on.

The new camp Hosts are so friendly and make you feel welcome. The campground was mowed only problem was with the bathroom water break but no one's fault and they addressed the issue right away.

From I-40, take exit 273. Merge onto US-56 south and continue for 3.5 miles to Floating Mill Road. After about a mile, turn right to stay on Floating Mill Road, and follow signs into the campground.
Floating Mill Park is accessible via I-40, with the nearest exit being 273. From there, travelers can merge onto US-56 south for approximately 3.5 miles to reach Floating Mill Road.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site types & loops
- Sites 60-77 and 81-98 are designated for tents only and require steps for access.
Site capacity
- Each site permits two tents on pads and one wheeled camping unit.
Pets
- Pets are not allowed in the day-use area, beach area, or restrooms.
Safety & rules
- Alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
- Campers must clean up trash and extinguish fires before leaving; failure to do so may result in citations.
Local regulations
- Church services occur every Sunday at 9 a.m. from Memorial Day weekend until the end of the season.
Fires & fuel
- Only heat-treated firewood is allowed; non-certified types are prohibited.
Fees & deposits
- Only credit card payments are accepted.
Vehicles & parking
- Camping equipment must remain on designated sites; parking in non-designated areas can lead to citations or towing.
- Only licensed vehicles are allowed; two are included per campsite with a $3 fee for additional vehicles.
