Beautiful, well maintained campground with great park staff. We loved this park but be aware that it is set on a very steep hillside. There were not any trails to walk, at least close to the campground. We camped there in a 43-foot fifth wheel and got around ok but if you stay in one of the lower sites with a rig this large you may have trouble getting around. The sites are also very close together. Would definitely stay here again though.

What I would like to know. So here goes: the camp hosts are amazing! We visited the campground 4 days prior to our reservation and the camp hosts are just kind and so so friendly. The site is AMAZING. Site 21 is literally the best tent site. There is water, electric, a walking path down to the water (short walk), close to the bathrooms/showers, close to the parking area, shaded with just enough sunlight, grass, flat spot for your tent. The bathroom/shower area has 2 washers and dryers, which are free (so bring laundry soap). The showers are clean and hot! The bathrooms are kept amazingly clean and have real mirrors! There are three bathroom stalls and 2 shower stalls. One is handicapped equipped (each). The hand dryers are force heated. We traveled with 6 large breed dogs, search and rescue K9s. We used the Petsafe wireless containment system which allowed all of the dogs to roam within our area without being on a leash. The site had one firepit with a grill and a separate pedestal grill. We used the TMobile home internet which provided TV streaming service. We were able to beach dock our pontoon boat right on the beach near us. Hurricane Marina is only a 30 minute ride (20mph) from the campground. There is a Walmart, restaurants, camp stores, etc, in the area. The campground is quiet, the fishing is great, we caught several different types of fish using night crawlers. All in all there are zero complaints. The campground is clean, quiet, fun, serene, great location! I am so so grateful to have found this gem! I pray the camp hosts have an amazing winter and can’t wait to see them next year!

Stayed at three campsites with nine friends and loved it. Ragland is a scenic campground along the river's edge. We were delighted by the views, the amenities, the lake access (went for an awesome swim!), and the hospitality. Upon arrival, the man at the gate was incredibly welcoming and helpful, guiding us all the way to our site. He made sure each of our friends knew where to find us as they arrived in waves. Thank you for such a great time. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful view of the Center Hill Lake. This site is a pull through and has plenty of room for both vehicles and a boat in addition to your RV. Always an enjoyable camping experience at Ragland Bottom with great camp host’s Tom and JoAnne.

Our first time in this pull through site. Plenty of room and an excellent view of the lake. Haven’t had a bad site yet here. Great camp hosts.
