Our site (#19) was a very nice pull through site. Close to the water but also close to the road, only about 3 ft between the curb and where our chairs were. My wife and I like to do hiking trails when we camp. Website said 11 mi of hiking trails but there was only one at the campsite (others were within a 30 minute driving distance) rated moderate to severe and had not be cleared of debris in 3 years according to the camp host. He recommended we not take that trail. If you want to do something other than sit by the campfire, take your kayaks, bicycles or fishing gear with you. The river was beautiful. If we decide to go back, we want sites 1-5.

Site one’s overhang was blown off and appeared that way for some time. The large rocks around the site was confining for fear of breaking ankles. The bath room was far away. But… great staff, beautiful scenery and WILL return!
