We always enjoy our stay at Ragland Bottom Campground. The host and volunteers were friendly and nice to talk to and are always helpful if needed. As for as attention needed there is a large tree root pushing up the asphalt making quite a large bump at a rather steep hill coming out of a curve after campsite #15 and before reaching the lower bath house. It is hard to nearly stop and try to get several tons of a camper rig moving again on this hill. In a car or pickup this is not as much of a problem.

Beautiful site! Very level. The showers in the bath house were very clean and there were 2 BRAND NEW washing machines and 1 dryer and they were FREE! Would definitely stay here again! We explored Burgess Falls and Rock Island from here. Both were exceptional waterfall locations and free to enter.

The view was amazing from my campsite, and the camp hosts were very engaging, pleasant, and helpful. Burgess Falls is close by for a wonderful view! You can kayak to the falls from the local Cane Hollow launch site.
