Awesome campground! Walking distance to the entrance of the Burgess Falls and a great hike to the falls. Owners Tony and Jen are so nice! The food at the cafe was delicious! 15min to small town of Sparta! We will be back!

We absolutely love this campground near Burgess Falls! It’s peaceful, clean, and just a short walk to the most beautiful waterfalls. The sites are spacious and level with full hookups, and the surroundings are so quiet and relaxing. Perfect spot to unwind after exploring the falls—definitely one of our favorite getaways! Already booked again for springtime.

Stayed 3 nights. Pads are nice concrete with full hook-ups. I needed full range from my leveler to level front-to-back on site 23. 1/2 of the 23 sites are near a fence that separates the CG from the state park parking lot. Traffic noise from the park is frequent during daylight hours. Also, there are several sites currently taken by long-term construction folks working a pipeline project in the area. They start their throaty diesel pickup trucks at 5:30AM. And if you are near site 23, expect the garbage truck to awaken you at 6:30AM Thursday with aprox 8-10 “bangs” as they empty the dumpster. A fence would help but not eliminate the noise of this truck & numerous campers making deposits to it.
The camp store has blinding exterior lights that make it hard to enjoy evenings outdoors if you are anywhere near it. The camp store itself was very nice. The hash brown bowls ($6) were a breakfast treat. They caution you not to enter via Burgess Falls Rd due to closure. It is OPEN except for very occasional closure due to construction of a new visitor center. Drove 8 extra miles to avoid a road not closed. Did not use bathroom/showers. Was here a year ago & remember a better experience. Just my opinions.

My wife and I stayed for three nights in early July 2026. Great campground with much potential. Amenities are more than adequate at a great price. The only negative is the numerous long term campers who appear to be pipeline construction workers. Seemed to be nice people but also seemed to bring everything they owned from home(lawnmowers, weed eaters,, pressure washers, boats and extra cars). Parking and exiting the campground became difficult because of the numerous long term vehicles and a boat parked outside designated campsite area. All in all a good experience and would stay again. Just a little attention to managing the long term campers would make this place exceptional.
