What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

View was awesome, site was great, only downside was it rained all day the only full day we had there. Lots of deer & friendly people. We will definitely be back.

Site had a great water view even though not on waterfront. Sites were closer together than I had anticipated - we prefer a little more isolation for a complete getaway - so did feel a little exposed as we sat around the campfire - our favorite pastime! But overall park was well maintained and gate folks were awesome!!

Great experience at Rocky Creek. Clean and well maintained park. Many deer in the park. Excellent hike and bike trails. Our visit was after peak season so many of the prime and water front sites were closed. Grass burrs everywhere so difficult to find a clear area to walk the dogs without stopping every few minutes to stop and pick stickers out of their paws. Despite this we will be visiting the park again.
