What Guests Are Saying
Rocky Creek Park at Lake Somerville is a well-maintained campground featuring beautiful lake views from every site, spacious areas for camping, and a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation. The staff is friendly and the facilities, including the RV dump station, are well-kept, making it a great destination for nature lovers. While some visitors noted issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the presence of sticker burrs, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

First, most sites I go to,leveling side to side usually takes me a few minutes. This was the first site I didn't need my Anderson blocks. Backed up unhitched, then leveled front to back. Friends who camped next to us said the same thing. Great clean and well kept place. Staff were very friendly and bathrooms were very clean.

This was our first time and we enjoyed it. The only thing I have complaints about was that our spot was the only spot not moved and it affected my allergies with the grass/weeds being overgrown. I desire to rebook.

Park is great. Staff is professional and friendly with knowledge of the area. Restroom and bath facilities need better service.

Great park. Love the openness and the ease of access to the water. I do wish the park was mowed more often. Also several locks and latches in the restrooms do not work and nobody seems interested in repairing them. Minor stuff but love the park and will continues coming back

We love this park. Most of the sites have easy access to the water. Numerous sites have good shade, but several don't, so make sure to check ahead to see what the site looks like before you reserve.

The grass is always so high that you have to bring your own mower.
