So glad we stayed at Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch! The grounds are beautiful and surrounded by peaceful wilderness. The sweet woman who checked us in was kind and accommodating. The lodge is so cozy. It was mid November when we stayed and cold at night but when we got inside, the lodge was perfectly warm (and it’s a big lodge!). We had a room upstairs and there was a little common area to relax in with a couch and table or we could also enjoy the main room with multiple couches, chairs and a table to play games. They served coffee and a nice, light and healthy continental breakfast there in the morning. Room was on the smaller side, bed was on the softer side (not for everyone but I loved it) and sheets were the softest I’ve ever had besides the ones at home! Bathroom was very clean and the toiletries in the shower were quality! We reserved a table at the Sweetwater Kitchen (right there in the lodge) for that evening. Service was great, the local steaks were delicious and there was even a man singing and playing guitar beautifully for our enjoyment. I highly recommend this accommodation and restaurant to anyone traveling through Boulder. After a long drive and touring sights in the desert, this place is a true diamond in the rough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, super remote. We couldn’t hear anything, but the sounds of cows, moving in the distance, which was exactly what we needed for a small family weekend get away. Great service and also great food at the Sweetwater Ranch so cool will be able to eat beef. They literally grew up on the property that we were staying on. Would give six stars if possible.

We spent three wonderful autumn nights at the Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch. With its rustic elegance we felt like we were in the Ponderosa from Bonanza.
Everyone on the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional which helped make our stay a memorable one.
In the Great Room on the second floor of the lodge, we met friendly guests from all parts of the country and the world.
Within a short drive were some of the most picturesque Utah desert wilderness hikes imaginable.
Add to that the gourmet restaurant on the second floor, it would be difficult to imagine a more delightful experience.

Note, my opinion is a little higher than my partner's. I very much enjoyed the mountain inn environment, with log walls, common areas, and friendly fellow travellers. Our room was small but comfortable, with adjacent bathroom. The gourmet teas and breakfast snacks were much appreciated. We both slept great in the quiet!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in Yurt #1 over the weekend. The yurt itself was so cute and very well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. We really loved relaxing on the patio. The grounds are also spacious and gorgeous, so peaceful and grounding. The lodge common area was very cozy and my daughter loved the board games available to play. Would definitely recommend if staying in the area!
