Mueller Park Group Picnic

Always love this area. We had 45 people at site 17 for a hot dog roast. The kids loved the water and the area was easily accessible for our older parents. Great site with plenty of tables and shade.

The campgrounds (day use) are always very clean. The hosts have always been kind and helpful. We often try to reserve spaces up Mueller when we have big gatherings as it is always peaceful and fun. Even with the fire limitations this time, we were able to make it a great experience.

Very pretty picnic area with shade and sun. Clean grounds. Bathrooms are well maintained. The camp hosts are very nice.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. We booked a table to celebrate my mom’s 75th bday, we were 8 adults and 5 kids, we booked the table until 5pm and then we were going to switch over to a smaller space because there was a wedding. I spoke to the lady, and with her permission we were ok to use the smaller site after, well at 5pm the old guy shows up and tells us that we need to pay for 2 sites because there is too many of us and one table isn’t enough, he expected us to book a table across the river for the kids! This old guy is ALL about money, he is only trying to find ways to get more money. He ruined my mom’s bday since he told us we had to leave because we weren’t willing to pay for 2 sites even we weren’t going to use both, we end up celebrating my moms 75th in my backyard he says this is my forest and I’m the one who put the rules , I’ll never comeback to this place again ! :/ I DO NOT recommend this place only because of the old guy, he’s arrogant, rude, and unfair. The place is beautiful, but he makes it terrible also the website says is $10 after the first car but he makes you pay the $15 for each car👎

Ranger very friendly and drove me up in golf cart to area as I have difficulty walking.

Love this place. It’s close, but still feels like a get-away in the mountains. The hosts are always helpful, professional, and kind. Love how we can reserve group sites online!
