Made this reservation about 5 days prior to our gathering. Weather alert with flash flooding was issued the night before. Contacted the office to cancel and was told it was too late to cancel and I would forfeit $80. Flash flood alert in a canyon is a big deal and potentially life threatening. Of course I’m going to cancel our gathering. They should make allowances for situations like this.

Getting There
From I-15, take the Woods Cross exit. Go a half-mile east on 2600 South, 0.9 mi north on Orchard Drive, a mile east on 1800 South, then 2 mi to the park entrance. The group picnic area is 100 yards east of the locked gate at the east end of park.

The campground is accessible via I-15, with the Woods Cross exit providing the nearest access point.
