I am writing to share a recent experience that I hope will be helpful for others considering a stay at this location. We are there mid October, to be exact Oct 13, 2025. I would strongly advise against booking during wet/rainy season and rain expected in the forecast.
We arrived at Bryce with pouring rain, which unfortunately rendered our planned hiking activities impossible and significantly altered our itinerary. With our outdoor plans thwarted, we proceeded directly to the campsite. While the drive itself was uneventful, the situation quickly deteriorated upon arrival.
The path from the parking area to our assigned tent was an absolute terrible. We found ourselves navigating through deep, pervasive mud that accumulated heavily on our shoes, making every step feel like we were dragging several extra pounds. It was not only incredibly messy but also precarious, with slippery conditions making the walk to the tent a challenging and thoroughly unpleasant ordeal.
Upon finally reaching our tent, we discovered another significant issue: the promised heater, for which I had specifically requested and paid in advance, was entirely absent. This was a considerable disappointment, especially given the wet and chilly conditions, and it significantly compromised our comfort for the duration of our stay. We ended up booking another accommodation last minute. Keep in mind that pictures do not accurately show the current condition of tent and surrounding.
I have reached out to management and their response was basically (oops sorry, thanks for the feedback and we’ll do better next time)

We booked two nights but only lasted one. The tent was disgusting — musky smell, dog hair and dirt all over the floor, and a nasty carpet at the entrance that was just gross. The front ties didn’t work, vent screens were ripped, and the tent was pitched so uneven that we ended up sleeping downhill on our heads.
To make things worse, the path to the tents was unsafe: rough, unstable terrain with almost no lighting at night. Walking it in the dark was dangerous.
We asked for a refund for the second night since we left early — they refused. That says everything you need to know about how they treat guests.
This isn’t “glamping.” It’s paying premium prices for filth, broken tents, unsafe conditions, and zero customer care. Save your money — Wander Camp can stick their “experience” right up their kazoo.

Really nice glamping for what it is. The tents were super nice, with a great big bed that was warm. We were afraid we would freeze at night, but that was no problem at all. There's no electricity and there's a barrack for restroom and shower, which were tidy and very functionble. Would absolutely recommend, just don't imagine it's a luxurious glamping site.

We enjoyed a short stay at Wander Camp-Escalante. After a long, hot day of adventure at Zion the comfy bed was most welcome!
It was fun to go camping without having to carry in any gear or set up! And we had a hot shower in the morning. This was a great experience.

Amazing location super close to the park! I slept incredible because it got chilly outside but the tents were equipped with the softest warmest blankets ever. I would bring shower shoes for the bathroom just because it is a shared bathhouse but they were very clean when we stayed. Host was super flexible with check in as well which was much appreciated. Verizon has cell service here but Atnt does not-just a good thing to be aware of.
