What Guests Are Saying

Cedar Canyon Campground is well-maintained and features clean facilities, with a friendly and helpful camp host. Visitors appreciate the beautiful, secluded spots among the pines, ideal for stargazing and close to Cedar Breaks National Monument. Some concerns include traffic noise from the nearby road and issues with restroom facilities, but overall, it is considered a great place for camping, especially for short stays.

Great location if you don’t mind being near some traffic to Brianhead/lake. 15 minutes from Cedar City. This was our 2nd time using the group site here. We love it! The camp hosts were great! We will be back!

This campground is right in between TWO highways. It is loud all night long. There are much better campgrounds at the top of the mountain. If you’re looking for a quiet place, this is not quiet. Also, they have double spots and we accidentally took one, and the campground host was really rude about it. If you stay here, make sure you read the signs. Because if you make a mistake, the host WILL ask you if you can read. SMH

Campground host allowed his dog to run free even though signs say all pets must be leashed. Host also commented that my dog was not friendly after his dog rushed up to her and bit at her. Our dog was on her leash while the host's was NOT! Campsites were dirty. Ours had not been cleaned up in some time. It had a half burned Chicago Cubs wooden sign at the base of a tree, many signs of fire rings not in the provided fire pit, and bits of trash throughout. I will not stay here or recommend this campground.
