What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Canyon Campground offers beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and a friendly host, David, who is attentive and helpful. While it is located near a highway, which can lead to some noise during the day, it quiets down at night, allowing for peaceful stargazing. Reviewers appreciate the cleanliness of the campground and its proximity to attractions like Cedar Breaks National Monument.

The highway noise was difficult to sleep through. We woke up several times through the night, and we are used to tent camping. Otherwise, we had what we needed: space, picnic table, vaulted toilet with toilet paper.

This was a nice place to camp. Beautiful trees and the sites are spaced out. There's a creek that you can walk to within the campground.
However, it is right off the highway, so expect road noise and there will be no disappointments. There is no cell service, but we welcomed the break.

The campsite was well maintained and the bathrooms were kept clean and stocked with TP. We camped on Memorial Day weekend and it was cold and windy at this site. We chose this because of lower elevation than further up the mountain but we were still cold. Also the traffic is heavy and you can hear the cars from the site. We probably won’t camp here again because of that, but we enjoyed our stay.

Road construction that was obviously going to be there all season should have closed down this campground for the year. Mentioned where we were at the Cedar Breaks visitor center and that was the Ranger's same viewpoint. Nice little campground, but very loud, very early. WAS NOT HAPPY

The campsite is beautiful and we'll maintained. The host is awesome and super helpful. The campsites are very close to a well traveled road. The big trucks tend to use their Jake Break when heading downhill, so expect lots of noise in the wee hours of the morning.
