Very relaxing stay even with on and off rain showers. This campground is always maintained very well.
Lane and Peter are great camp hosts. Very visible and approachable.
Sure wish there was internet!

We reserved a tent site online. Upon arriving, we discovered our assigned site was totally unacceptable for a tent. We went to the camp host to ask for a different site. The problem was that the camp host had a sign in front of their mobile home that said something like “private property — do not approach”. We’ve never seen a host with that attitude about helpfulness.

The new camp hosts wants it to be silence at 10pm..we all know it is quiet time.but silence is ridiculous. It's like they want it to be bedtime..they put hand written notes everywhere on the site telling you to silence people..animals and generators ..we need new Host! Or we may NOT go back and we go every year as a group for the past 5 years.

Great campground. Bathrooms are clean, but the number is inadequate for the size of the campground.

The camp host is astoundingly bad. I would almost recommend coming here just to see for yourself. We stayed 4 days and I am sure that I never heard the camp host say anything pleasant to me or any other campers. For example, she barked at a very well-behaved youth group next to our camp because they were playing corn-hole together. She said that they were not allowed to be together because they didn't have a group site. Really?? Did she think they were supposed to avoid each other in the camp at all times? One night, a few of us were talking around a campfire at 10:05. Just talking-- no music (we never had any music) and she told us that we woke her up and that we can't make any noise after 10:00 including talking. I was seriously afraid that if I snored she would hit me over the head with one of her small bundles of firewood that she was selling for the low price of $9.00. Fortunately, that never happened. The lake is pretty, the campsites are nice, the access is easy, but be prepared to walk on eggshells and apologize profusely for existing.
