The site is very well maintained and clean. The short walk to Cedar Breaks amphitheater is a must. The geology is fascinating and the beauty of the site is spectacular.

Being at 10,000 ft elevation the daily temperature is much lower than in nearby Cedar City and St-George. This makes it a great place to spend some time during those unbearably hot Utah summer days.

Quiet campground at ~10,000 feet. Great place to visit when summertime temperatures are hot at lower elevations.

lovely campsite, quiet campground, scenic, cool as it is high altitude, easy walk to viewpoints, fairly dog friendly as you can walk the dog on the paved trail to the scenic viewpoints. campground restrooms were clean and well maintained, shower available. campground hosts were friendly, helpful and took good care of checking in the campers and offering advice and assistance as requested. water and trash easily accessible.

Well kept sites, moderately separated for privacy, well shaded. Check-in was a little more complicated with the temporary move of the visitor center and change in hours of operation.

Camp host super friendly, nice facilities/camp sites, water and a hot shower to boot at 10,300' elevation.
The Alpine Loop trail is amazing and vistas from the lookouts are stunning.

One of the most incredibly beautiful campgrounds I've ever stayed at. Cedar Breaks is literally across the street with breathtaking views. The campground is quiet, clean and has hot showers! The camp host was very kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this campground.
