Campground is clean and absolutely beautiful. Free firewood is a plus and a shower is available. There is no cell service or wi fi. but not a big deal.

Everything about this campground is wonderful, from super helpful camp hosts (Thank you Paula!) to the best hot showers ever. A little challenging to get level, but it can be done. 10k ft elevation is too much for some, but we were fine.

I'll never camp at Cedar Breaks Supreme again, even though it's nice in many ways. In making a phone reservation we could get no information about the sites. When we arrived our site was unsuitable for our 22' RV but we made the best of it -- putting Lynx-Leveling blocks under wheels, which took 30 minutes to get right -- but had to park near the edge of the street to make it work. Camp Host on duty was nice and said it was OK with her. Next morning a new person took over as Camp Host and made us move. Insisted it was unsafe even though we had orange cones and the street was wide at that place. Just finding out from him where we COULD go was difficult; he seemed reluctant, and he had limited information about which sites were available. He finally allowed us to go to one of the 2 handicapped sites, saying, "I don't like allowing non-handicapped to be there, and I can't guarantee you won't have to move again." Sure enough, he made us move again the next day, and added that we might have to move the following day, too. This is all true and it was hell.

Bathroom is very clean and well maintained. Very quiet and surroundings are absolutely beautiful, it’s by far our favorite camp spot during our cross country road trip. Definitely coming back next time we’re passing thru!!

Beautiful campground!! We loved our views of the meadow. It was very clean and quiet. While we didn’t use them, showers at a campground are always a huge plus. Also really close to the hikes we wanted to do!!

General

  • Due to limited staffing, multiple-day reservations will be held for the entirety of the reservation. It is the reservation holder's responsibility to cancel their reservation. No-shows will only be processed for one-night only reservations at the morning after the night of the reservation.
  • Each campsite is limited to two camping structures. Any mix is allowed for example campers may have a RV and pop-up, tent and pop-up, two tents, a sleeping trailer and a tent, or similar combination. Check with the camp host for details.
  • Be prepared for cooler temperatures and unpredictable weather; summertime highs average between 60 - 70°F, nighttime lows often dip to 30 - 40°F. The thinner atmosphere provides less protection from dangerous UV rays; wear a hat and use sunscreen.

  • Excessive noise (anything above 60 dicibles) is prohibited at all times.
  • Pets must be leashed and attended; they are not permitted on unpaved-trails or in park buildings. Service animals are welcome.
  • Campsites are on either side of a very narrow loop road. Campers will be required to have all equipment within their site and not in the roadway.
  • Hunting is prohibited inside the park.
  • Do not feed wildlife, violators may be fined.
  • Campground opening and closing dates may be slightly earlier or later and are subject to favorable weather.
  • Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site.
  • Thunderstorms frequently develop in the afternoons; be aware of the risks of lightning and avoid exposed trails and overlooks until the storms pass.
  • Do not pick flowers or plants. All animals, rocks and plants are protected by federal law and must be left undisturbed.
  • Entrance passes for Cedar Breaks National Monument are required in addition to campground fees. You may purchase your pass upon arrival at the campground or you may purchase your pass through recreation.gov.
