Great campsite, friendly hosts. They're enforcing rules for securing food in bear country, which means you have to pack all your food and stoves and anything food-related into a vehicle when you're not in camp (since they don't have bear boxes there). Be ready for that, because nothing and nobody will tell you in advance except those of us who they spring it on.

The campground location is perfect with proximity to Cedar Breaks National Monument, Brian Head resort, and other sites like Mammoth Cave and Navajo lake. The wildflowers were stunning. The campground showers and flush toilets were a big plus too. We had unusual issues with the camp hosts. Unlike the happy helpful hosts we usually experience these were grouchy and saw their role as enforcement of rules. They seemed intent on trying to the camping experience unpleasant for us. This experience was an anomaly as far as our experience with camp hosts go and marred our time in what is really a wonderful campground.

Awesome high-altitude campground in a beautiful area that was literally covered in late-June wildflowers. Friendly host and great facilities. We loved our stay there and will definitely be back.

Campsite #9 was perfect for my needs. It's labeled as a tent-only site, but I would actually rank it as one of the least desirable sites if you're setting up a traditional ground tent. That may explain why it was still available just a week before a holiday weekend.
For my rooftop tent (RTT) setup, however, it was outstanding. The parking pad is wide, level, and ideal for vehicle camping. I had plenty of room to deploy my awning on one side, while the other side offered a beautiful view from the rooftop tent.
A few steps below the parking pad, but still connected, is the designated tent area. Unlike many of the other sites in the campground, this tent pad is sloped and fairly rocky, making it less than ideal for ground tents. If you're camping from your vehicle, though, that becomes a non-issue, and I would happily book this site again.

Went in late June and the Wildflowers were great. Recommed hiking from the campsite to the visitor center instead of driving.

General
- Due to limited staffing, multiple-day reservations will be held for the entirety of the reservation. It is the reservation holder's responsibility to cancel their reservation. No-shows will only be processed for one-night only reservations at the morning after the night of the reservation.
- Each campsite is limited to two camping structures. Any mix is allowed for example campers may have a RV and pop-up, tent and pop-up, two tents, a sleeping trailer and a tent, or similar combination. Check with the camp host for details.
- Be prepared for cooler temperatures and unpredictable weather; summertime highs average between 60 - 70°F, nighttime lows often dip to 30 - 40°F. The thinner atmosphere provides less protection from dangerous UV rays; wear a hat and use sunscreen.
- High altitudes may cause shortness of breath and tiredness - slow down, rest often and drink plenty of water.
- Excessive noise (anything above 60 dicibles) is prohibited at all times.
- Pets must be leashed and attended; they are not permitted on unpaved-trails or in park buildings. Service animals are welcome.
- Campsites are on either side of a very narrow loop road. Campers will be required to have all equipment within their site and not in the roadway.
- Hunting is prohibited inside the park.
- Do not feed wildlife, violators may be fined.
- Campground opening and closing dates may be slightly earlier or later and are subject to favorable weather.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site.
- Thunderstorms frequently develop in the afternoons; be aware of the risks of lightning and avoid exposed trails and overlooks until the storms pass.
- Do not pick flowers or plants. All animals, rocks and plants are protected by federal law and must be left undisturbed.
- Entrance passes for Cedar Breaks National Monument are required in addition to campground fees. You may purchase your pass upon arrival at the campground or you may purchase your pass through recreation.gov.
- You must stay at least one night to book a visit.
