What Guests Are Saying

Point Supreme Campground is highly praised for its beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and friendly camp hosts. Campers enjoyed clean restrooms, hot showers, and the abundance of wildflowers, along with the convenience of proximity to hiking trails and the visitor center. While some noted the limited restroom facilities and quiet hours, the overall experience was overwhelmingly positive, making it a favored camping destination.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds in the state of Utah. Quiet, small capacity, beautiful views, access to lovely pet friendly walking paths and great service, especially by the volunteer camp hosts.

We love this place. Kevin, the camp host, was very helpful and friendly. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.

When I arrived, I could not believe the congestion. The campsites are virtually right on top of each other. The access road around the campground is barely navigable. Speaking with the campground host, I determined it was OK to navigate the campground road in the reverse direction in order to back in without having to turn more than 90 degrees to get in my spot. She mentioned that the campground was very old and was originally intended as a tent campground but has since been converted to allow RVs. My 24 ft trailer just barely fit. The "pull-through" sites are barely 3-5 ft off the campground road and would be a problem with slide-outs. A few with slide-outs extended were actually overhanging the campground roadway. . There are showers and toilets available, but no hookups (or dump station) whatsoever. If you want a campground challenge, go, but you're better off just picking a spot in the National Forest just outside the park (less than 5 mi) and boon-docking.

This campground was excellent. My son and I stayed them for the weekend tent camping. The facilities were clean, the campground was amazing, and the hosts were constantly going around to make sure the rules were followed. The wildlife was abundant. Highly recommended.

  • Due to limited staffing, multiple-day reservations will be held for the entirety of the reservation. It is the reservation holder's responsibility to cancel their reservation. No-shows will only be processed for one-night only reservations at the morning after the night of the reservation.
  • Each campsite is limited to two camping structures. Any mix is allowed for example campers may have a RV and pop-up, tent and pop-up, two tents, a sleeping trailer and a tent, or similar combination. Check with the camp host for details.
  • Be prepared for cooler temperatures and unpredictable weather; summertime highs average between 60 - 70°F, nighttime lows often dip to 30 - 40°F. The thinner atmosphere provides less protection from dangerous UV rays; wear a hat and use sunscreen.
  • High altitudes may cause shortness of breath and tiredness - slow down, rest often and drink plenty of water.
  • Excessive noise (anything above 60 dicibles) is prohibited at all times.
  • Pets must be leashed and attended; they are not permitted on unpaved-trails or in park buildings. Service animals are welcome.
  • Campsites are on either side of a very narrow loop road. Campers will be required to have all equipment within their site and not in the roadway.
  • Hunting is prohibited inside the park.
  • Do not feed wildlife, violators may be fined.
  • Campground opening and closing dates may be slightly earlier or later and are subject to favorable weather.
  • Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site.
  • Thunderstorms frequently develop in the afternoons; be aware of the risks of lightning and avoid exposed trails and overlooks until the storms pass.
  • Do not pick flowers or plants. All animals, rocks and plants are protected by federal law and must be left undisturbed.
  • Entrance passes for Cedar Breaks National Monument are required in addition to campground fees. You may purchase your pass upon arrival at the campground or you may purchase your pass through recreation.gov.
  • You must stay at least one night to book a visit.
