A wonderful campground! Be sure to take time to hike the trail around the lake. It's well worth it!

Very beautiful destination. Nice clean campground. Over regulated. Not allowed to gather wood. Not allowed to camp on the beach.

I hadn't been to Moon Lake in at least 10 years, so I was very excited after booking a campground for July 2019. Upon arrival a flood of memories came back to me & it was wonderful. The lake itself is gorgeous & provides a beautiful scenic centerpiece & background for your camping experience. The campground itself is maintained well with dozens of ground squirrels to provide endless entertainment. There were also families of deer that would pass by our site throughout the day, which was splendid. Hiking around the lake is amazing & definitely a must-do. The beach on the south side of the lake is also great for day activities. 10/10, Moon Lake!

Beautiful spot. Planned to stay a week. Had to leave after two nights because of the 24 hours of constant generator noise. Unbearable at best. We won't be back.

Nice campground, Beautiful lake. There are a lot of generators running constantly throughout the day and in the night too. Very busy campground. Took a walk along the beach and into the mountains.

Been camping here all my life. And has become too commercial. Too many sites. High rates. But still a beautiful location.
