I don't want to say how great it is because I don't want to miss out on a camp spot the next time I want to go!

Campground has lost its luster.the new Facebook camping crowd are disrespectful will not follow rules.and horable guests.treating neighbors and host with no regard.the host should have the authority and backing from Forest service to remove and block future visits .keep your dog on a leash,do you really need your generator to run all day and night.your camping!

Love Moon lake and getting Ice cream everyday at the lodge! I know they are still working to get water restored to the campground after the fire and slide a few years back.

The camp ground is confined. The tent sites are extremely close to one another. Parking isn’t near your camp site so there is distance to get unloaded and loaded back up. The port a potties closest to the lake were decent for the exception of people who don’t understand closing the lid after use. The port a potties closest to the campsites were disgusting! Understudy it was a pretty busy weekend but does no one go in to clean up & add toilet paper? I understand you can’t clean the unit itself except someone can wipe it down & add TP??! The camp host wasn’t available upon arrival. Nor were they doing anything about generators going after 10pm and the SCREAMING PEOPLE laughing & carrying on until the wee hours of the night!!! That was the BIGGEST FRUSTRATION of our trip!!! Isn’t the camp host supposed to assist in keeping unruly people straight? Also not cool of those people who had no consideration for others! The camp ground ECHOS EVERY SINGLE SOUND/NOISE. Screaming kids after 10pm, barking dogs, generators running. People need to be more considerate. Not to mention the banging couple next to our campsite who had no consideration for the kids that weren’t to far away in their tents who were subjected to having to hear them! The little store with ice cream was our highlight, overall it was so so, but we won’t be going back.

I would love to have left a review for site 31, where I had a reservation but when we arrive someone was in that spot fully set up and nowhere to be seen. There is no camp host from what I can tell, so if this happens to you, you are just SOL. Super inconsiderate people all around, generators going all night, people stealing reserved sites, and campfires not being put out properly. Very disappointed.

My wife and I have camped at Moon Lake for several years now. This time we were very disappointed, although we had the same camp spot, the toilets and water were not working the entire time we were there. even worse there was no indication on the web site that the toilets and water were not functional. Never saw the camp host, no one ever checked in with us. Campgrounds were filthy, other campers loud, rude, Lake levels extremely low. very disappointed, definitely will be looking elsewhere to camp.

I feel bad for the host, trying to deal with unruly. Campers generators running people with 0 respect. loose dogs. The place has really changed since all the new marketing. Hopefully they all find somewhere else to go soon
