One of the best campgrounds in the state.

Great campground. Plenty of space to fit 3-4 cars in spots designated for campsite. Flush toilets and potable water on site. We were able to fit 3 separate tents and could’ve fit 1-2 more if needed. The one downside is the campsite did not have a grill like specified and the tables were very old and splitting so it was easy to get splinters. The table is also thicker than a standard picnic table, so the table cloth hooks I had did not stay on. Great trees surrounding site, but not very many around campfire and tables. There was a bear that came through the campground while we were there so make sure to put food and garbages away and carry bear spray. Walk to the bathroom was a little farther than I would’ve liked, but doable. Overall, we loved our stay and would come back here again.

Lots of people

We liked it a lot. It’s a quality campground in a beautiful place. Kind of a long drive to get there. We really like it.

We love this campground. It is clean and well kept. There are many little places to walk around and ride bikes. This is a place my family camps at each year. The camp hosts this year were exceptionally nice! We truly loved our stay!

The campground and surrounding area are just beautiful. My site was clean. All sites are spacious. The bathrooms were closed due to plumbing issues but were opened the second day of my stay. Bathrooms were clean.

I arrived on July 21st. On July 22nd, I went on a hike for most of the day. When I returned, my tent was open and things had been shuffled around inside. MY CLOTHES HAD BEEN STOLEN. I made a list of everything that was stolen and went to each and every camper there, showing them the list of my stolen items. The campground host was not there. I left a note with all the details of what happened, what was stolen, and how to contact me. I have never heard from them.

The day before, a woman had her hoodie stolen. She had folded it up and placed it on a stump while she went to the restroom. When she came out a few minutes later, it was gone. She later found it much later in a dumpster.

I walked around in the woods behind my tent site and ended up finding my fleece jacket a ways off, dragged through the dirt and thrown in the bushes. That is all that was recovered.

This campground was busy, with kids constantly riding their bikes and scooters along the driveway. Adults as well. Yet, nobody said they saw anything.

As pretty as this place is, I will not return due to the vandalism.

Amazing campground! Really just lovely- most sites are pretty private and the pines and mountains are fabulous.

Beautiful place! It was a bit challenging because there was no running water. The new reservation system is lame.

Campground was beautiful as always, however, there was no potable water. We were surprised to arrive in the campground only to find portable toilets and no water. We immediately spoke with the camp host who told us we should have received an email and been notified. We were not notified before our stay. Gratefully, there was potable water available at Upper Stillwater campground. Campground was very quiet.

Beautiful and clean camp ground! Lots of trees and plenty of space in your own campground to move around!
