We love this campground. It is clean and well kept. There are many little places to walk around and ride bikes. This is a place my family camps at each year. The camp hosts this year were exceptionally nice! We truly loved our stay!

Great campground. Plenty of space to fit 3-4 cars in spots designated for campsite. Flush toilets and potable water on site. We were able to fit 3 separate tents and could’ve fit 1-2 more if needed. The one downside is the campsite did not have a grill like specified and the tables were very old and splitting so it was easy to get splinters. The table is also thicker than a standard picnic table, so the table cloth hooks I had did not stay on. Great trees surrounding site, but not very many around campfire and tables. There was a bear that came through the campground while we were there so make sure to put food and garbages away and carry bear spray. Walk to the bathroom was a little farther than I would’ve liked, but doable. Overall, we loved our stay and would come back here again.

From Highway 40 in Duchesne, Utah, turn north onto Highway 87. Go 15 miles to the Mountain Home turnoff. Continue 2.5 miles toward Mountain Home. Turn left at the Rock Creek Store and proceed about 15 miles to the campground.
Yellowpine Campground is accessible via Highway 40, which is approximately 15 miles south of the campground, and Highway 87, which the campground is directly accessed from.
Elevation: 2301 feet
38 mi drive to downtown Duchesne (about 53 min)

General
- This is Yellowpine Campground in Rock Creek Canyon; it is not on the Mirror Lake Highway near Kamas
- Single sites are allowed 8 people, 1 vehicle, 1 RV/trailer and 1 tent; Double sites are allowed 16 people, 2 vehicles, 2 RV/trailers and 2 tents; Group sites are allowed 32 people, 4 vehicles, 4 RV/trailers and 3 tents
