What Guests Are Saying

Loop Campground offers a serene and beautiful environment with well-maintained sites, ample firewood, and a cool climate, making it an ideal escape from summer heat. Many visitors appreciated the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the abundance of wildlife, including deer. However, some issues were noted, such as rough access roads and reservation mix-ups, but overall experiences were positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

Secluded campsite, 3 mi up a dirt road that makes it hard to pass on coming traffic. Lots of deer that come close enough to see, but scared enough to not let you get too close. Trail head to a nice hike is in the Campground so there is a bit of traffic parked around site 1A & 2. Pack in/pack out. Site 2 is mostly shady but there are stairs that go down into the site, that are hard to maneuver when you're carrying things. Bathroom was clean and not many bugs. Only complaint was the amount of flies, but many other bugs, just flies of all sizes. They mostly don't bother you, but they do make it hard to relax with all the buzzing.

Beautiful campsite. Just what I was looking for for my weekend trip. Plenty of shade, vault toilets close by, and deer freely wandered by to eat in the mornings and evenings.

The camp host Margaret was very accommodating and such a sweet heart. She was able to help us find our spot and always had a smile and a wave as she made her rounds. best camp host I've had the pleasure of interacting with.

We reserved 3 sites. When we got there, 2 sites already had other campers because the "reserved" signs had not been put up.

Other than that, we had a great time.
