Such a beautiful campground but the stream was our favorite part of this campground. The fishing was really fun for the kids. We had a blast! Even without a campfire due to obvious restrictions

the fire happened so we could not go...road closed etc. Camp Manager has been FANTASTIC!!!! Am I going to get a refund?

A beautiful creek side campsite nestled amidst the foliage at the base of a mountain tucked from from the highway made for a most relaxing experience. We were greeted by a local cow herd that happened across the property, as well as the loca host who immediately came to make sure we found our spot and were settled in. The vault toilets were well stocked, water accessible, and a large picnic table and fire ring ready for use. The area was well shielded from the wind and elements, and situated in a very quiet spot but with a spectacular view across the valley from the main path of the camp at the edge of the tree line. If passing this area I would definitely consider stopping here again. It is a good quiet spot to relax and disconnect if you dont plan to go anywhere as the surrounding area is mainly fields and mountains.

My grandkids call this the “magical “ campground. We happened on it last year as a waypoint and it was the required destination this year. Well kept. Quiet. Nestled at the base of a steep rock wall. And it really is a shady maple grove, an oasis with a delightful cool brook, perfect for wading, parallel to the fence line. A tree swing in the middle of the campground delights everyone. Host was friendly and helpful. Has three well designed group camp areas great for reunions or weddings. Well placed water spigots and clean vault toilets. The kids played joyfully for hours. This campground is about 15 miles from I15 to the west and Aurora to the east, but a world apart. Wonderful haven. Magical indeed.

This campground is a hidden gem. We have stayed here several times on our way from Nevada to Colorado and it never disappoints. Birds, shade, streams, rocks. What more could you ask for?

The camping area was clean and well cared for, we had a nice quite few days camping. We hided the Rock Canyon trail. I suggest that any other trails nearby should have a clearer map than the one at the front infomation board.

Amazing campsite, we got to listen to running water all day long. Great hiking trail near, it is a hard one but so worth it!

Arrival & departure
- Sites are first come, first served; reservations are recommended due to high demand.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Utilities
- No hookups for electricity, water, or sewer are available.
Safety & rules
- Guests must bring their own garbage bags as there are no garbage services.
- Live music and sound systems are not allowed.
- Firearms, including BB guns and slingshots, are prohibited.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-road vehicles are prohibited.
- Vehicles or trailers that do not fit must be moved to another site at full price; free parking is available.
