We enjoy South Fork but something has to be done with the potholes. Going through Loop B is terrible!

South Fork offers a wonderful camping experience with great river access, friendly camp hosts, and plenty of shade and privacy in the campsites. Many guests enjoyed activities like tubing and swimming, making it a fun family getaway. While some encountered issues with cleanliness and noise from nearby roads or restrooms, overall, visitors found the campground enjoyable and plan to return.

My kids had so much fun in the river! The sure we got was pretty decided from everyone else so it didn't feel like I was camping with a someone right next to me.

Overall camp sight is nice place , right next to the river , if you like to fish will need to drive and find a spot river runs very aggressive right now. Camp host was nice let us check in early. They had soap by the restrooms to wash your hands which we thought was a nice touch since most campsites don’t provide that.
Drive up to the camp sight is gorgeous , green mountains and trees all over.
No cell service with Verizon you have to drive down the mountain a few miles to get a couple bars.

We hardly saw and never spoke to the host. Our fire pit was so full it was hard to have fires. They blew all of the dust towards us when they were "cleaning" the site next to us. We camp at south fork many times a season. The hosts this year seemed lacking. Never had an issue before this season.

Nice camp area, easy access. Close to the road so it is a little noisy. nice large table for cooking and eating on aa cement pad and fire pit for cooking and fire. a nice little stream goes through the camp site.

We liked the campsite and the facilities. So as far as a place to camp goes we are going to try it again. However, it rained heavily as soon as we got there and we had a propane incident so we decided to leave early.

The campground is kept in very nice shape; everything was clean. Great location. Our one complaint is that the campground hosts weren’t available for questions. They drove past every day twice a day on the golf cart, but couldn’t even be bothered to wave, which is the opposite of the friendliness which campground hosts typically exude.

All in all, it was a fun and enjoyable trip for my family. The only things that bothered us were things outside of the camp host's (and your) control. The river was low. Smoke from the CA fires, etc. We had a great time and will be coming back again.
