Well kept campsites, well kept bathrooms, courteous hosts! Love the gated access from 10p - 6a so no one is driving around while you're trying to sleep. Other campers were very respectful. I will absolutely be coming back to this spot!!!

Excellent campground. No service, fun river to play in, fun loop to ride bikes around. Oh, and good shade. Our site was a little on the small side, but still fit our 10-person tent. We were hoping to use our hammocks, but there wasn't a good pair of trees at our site. We saw lots of chipmunks, but not a lot of birds. The campground is next to a highway, and unfortunately, the noise reached the campground often. Still, I'd be happy to stay again.

We stayed at site 43 for Labor Day weekend. This was our first time at this campsite, but have stayed in various sites across the Wasatch and Uintas, and this was probably one of our top 3 sites. Very private and shaded sites in Loop B due to site distances and tall riparian trees. Our site was not as close to the water, but that was not an issue as river access was a couple minutes away. We tent-camped but the site accomodate RVs, however it did seem large RVs had a hard time maneuvering or fitting in their site. Check RV dimensions before booking. Dog friendly and clean bathrooms with spigot! Highly recommend!

Great time down in the river with our camping chairs! All the people tubing looked like they were having a great time. We will try that next time. We did have some curious raccoons that rifled through our box of cooking tools we left outside. The rascals even managed to knock our cast iron pan onto the ground in the middle of the night. Plenty of squirrels and wildflowers. It was a great weekend! We always enjoy Southfork and the campsites offer plenty of shade, room for a family tent and we had a game area this time.

This campground is one of our favorites! We’ve also stayed in Loop B, but all the spots we’ve stayed at have been fabulous! Nice and shaded, enough privacy so that you don’t really see the campers next to you. The river offers a nice way to cool off on a hot day and you’re so close to Pineview and Causey.

I love spending time in the mountains and disconnecting! being here at south fork was a very rejuvenating experience for me and my family, spent a lot of time in the river since it was so hot and the grandkids did several river runs with tubs, the camp, bathrooms where clean as clean as an outhouse could be and the camp host was friendly. Very enjoyable experience!
