What Guests Are Saying

Jellystone Park™ Zion boasts excellent facilities, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere, particularly highlighting the positive energy of staff member Francisco, who enhanced guest experiences. Visitors appreciated the spacious, well-maintained sites and clean amenities, making it a peaceful getaway, especially during the off-season. However, a significant downside noted was the steep parking fees for daily water park access, which detracted from the overall value of the experience.

The facilities are first rate, the front desk and rangers are awesome. The two higher managers, Heather and Keva, will ignore you and, when cornered, lie to your face. And you should hear the disgruntled employees speak of them. They'll ruin a great campground.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Big shoutout to Francisco! He’s awesome. His positive energy is contagious, and it was always a pleasure seeing him around the park.

The only real downside was the Wi-Fi. For most of our stay, we had to rely on our phone’s hotspot or Starlink, which wasn’t ideal.

Other than that, everything was great. The staff was friendly, the sites were spacious, level, and well maintained. The bathrooms and laundry room, while simple, were always clean.

Most of the pool area was closed, but the one pool that remained open was beautifully maintained.

We visited during the off-season, and it was quiet, clean, and peaceful. The perfect place to recharge.

The park’s location is unbeatable. Right between Zion and St. George. There’s plenty to see and do just a short drive away.

I can only imagine how lively this place must get in the summer! Not my cup of tea, but I’m sure some beautiful memories are made here.

My kids loved all the amenities, even with the water park portion being closed for the season. The facilities were always clean and all the staff we encountered were so friendly! The youth activities director included all the kids - she even jumped and colored with them. There was a staff member there, he seemed to be in charge of all the maintenance crew. He was the most friendly guy, always saying hi and treating you like a friend - not a stranger. This place is very kid friendly!! We can’t wait to come back and stay even longer next time!

Francisco….!!! What a great personality!!! Daughters had a blast. He made the experience that much more enjoyable! Staff was good to work with and other than the pseudo flexes from all of the over-lit 5th wheels and old guys over compensating it was great! Highly recommend the obstacle course as we had a blast with our friends.

Jellystone, take care of Francisco! He is a character all his own!!!

I had been to Jellystone Water Park about a year ago and we had a great time, so I thought it would be fun to come back. Unfortunately, this visit was a totally different experience.

They were trying to charge $40 per car for parking - not for camping or overnight stays, just for daily water park use. We had two cars full of excited kids, but there was no way I was going to shell out $80 just to park, especially on top of $30+ per person for admission. That’s outrageous.

We ended up dropping everyone off, parking at a nearby church over two miles away, and running back in the southern Utah heat. Honestly, if it weren’t for the kids (who were already bummed the day before after we found Veyo Pool was closed due to flooding), I would have just left. We got an $8 Uber on the way back - way better than paying their insane parking fee.

To be fair, the staff onsite were kind and understanding. They offered us free drink tickets to make up for the trouble, which didn’t at all fix the situation but was appreciated. The lady in the Zepes truck was also awesome and gave us a free kids cup, and Francisco at the toilet bowl slide was super friendly and great with the kids.

It’s just hard to get past that ridiculous parking charge. I don’t know how anyone can justify paying that out of sheer principle. The park itself is fine, but not worth those prices. If you’re looking for a fun water day, I’d recommend heading to Pecan Valley instead.
