What Guests Are Saying
Ledgefork is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean facilities, and attentive camp hosts, making it a favorite camping destination for many. However, there are concerns about inadequate parking, unclear check-in/check-out times, and potential safety hazards at some sites, including poor asphalt conditions. Overall, visitors appreciate the peaceful environment and cleanliness, but urge for improvements in safety and amenities.

Very invasive chipmunks, someone tried opening car doors at night, very loud music late Sunday night, and either a section b camp host or long timer camper who was pretty weird with us. I give it a "C"

Very nice campground, overall. Quiet and secluded under the pines. Sites were clean and the paved roads and site pull-ins were a nice plus. However, there was no water to be had. Most (if not all) federal campgrounds have water spigots near most of the campsites, as does Ledgefork–but apparently, there was a break or leak in the water main, so no water. To their credit, they noted that on their reservation website, and reiterated it on the confirmation emails. If a business can't deliver the "product" you're paying for (and this IS a business!), then they should either not offer the campsites and close the campground until the problem is fixed, or offer a reduced rate of fees. The fact that we still paid full fare for our stay is unacceptable and inexcusable! Don't tell me that you need that full revenue in order to pay for the repairs. What are we paying federal income taxes for, if not to fund federal agencies and programs, like this? Somebody needs to get their priorities straight!

This is a great place to camp but there is no water available at the camp site. Can't give it a 5 until water is restored. This is the third of fourth year without water. Can't be that hard to fix the problem.
