Ledgefork offers a beautiful and well-maintained camping experience with friendly and helpful hosts, ample nature, and good access to outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and kayaking. Many campers appreciate the privacy and space of the sites, as well as the cleanliness of the facilities. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the lack of water, accessibility for trailers, and the increasing presence of loud motorized vehicles, which can detract from the peaceful camping atmosphere.

Camp host and his daughter were exceptionally nice, very accommodating, and helped us anyway they could. Fantastic experience. Thank you to “Walt and Clarice”

The campground itself is beautiful and peaceful. However, some of the campground sites including the one that we were in are difficult to access from the one-way road thru the campground. We ended up having some damage done to our trailer trying to access our camping site. The campground host was very helpful to us as we needed to make repairs on a blown-out tire. Unfortunately, our weekend was cut short due to the trailer damage, and we only stayed one night. It is difficult to know the actual layout of the sites and their access from the online map. There is also a 4-mile dirt road that you must access before getting to the campground. This would have also been helpful to know. I'm not sure that we well be staying there again as there are so many local campgrounds with better access.

Ledge Fork campground is an enjoyable location. The campsites are nestled within the pines, which allows you to see some of the animals coming through your camp. The installed tables have seen better days and are quite worn. The outhouses were kept clean and presentable. Your camp host was very engaging and helpful.

Ledgefork in one of our most favorite campgrounds for its beauty of the area and lake. Most sights are private and quiet including shade.
The lack of water is a concern and you must be prepared. You can go to the Smith Morehouse campground for water. The water system has been down for several years and I wish it could be repaired.

I ended up reserving a site by the bathroom, but found an available site by the creek. Camp host was very helpful and let me move there. Beautiful and clean sites. Friendly staff at Ledgefork and Smith and Morehouse. I will definitely be back.

The campground was lovely and so were the hosts. Our original spot on 19, didn’t work for us though. The parking spot was small and not big enough for our tent trailer and our yukonXL, plus the way to back in just would not work with how the spot was. 19 is best for a single car and tent camping.
The camp hosts helped us find another available spot that would accommodate our needs. We ended up at spot 6, and couldn’t have been happier! Plenty of space to park our trailer, truck, and room for another car. The camp spot was massive with lots of room to explore. Could’ve easily set up multiple tents plus the trailer. Easy to back into and get out.
