What Guests Are Saying
Ledgefork offers a beautiful and well-maintained camping experience with friendly and helpful hosts, ample nature, and good access to outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and kayaking. Many campers appreciate the privacy and space of the sites, as well as the cleanliness of the facilities. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the lack of water, accessibility for trailers, and the increasing presence of loud motorized vehicles, which can detract from the peaceful camping atmosphere.

We loved the site and proximity to Smith and Morehouse. Lots of bathrooms so they were close to most sites

The road along the lake is terrible with parked cars blocking the way. This should be looked at

We loved all the aspens, the hiking trails close by, the reservoir and the overall beauty of the campground. Campsite #69 was tucked away and felt private from the other sites. We had an amazing experience!

Ledgefork is a well maintained and beautiful campsite. No hookups, water or showers, but lots of nature, trees and privacy between campsites. We had a great time with 5 of our grandkids — going on Smith and Morehouse lake, hiking and explaining the forest area around the campground

The camp hosts were great. The location is nice. Lots of trees. It was about 10 minutes from our site at the top of the loop to the boat ramp. The reservoir is a good size for canoes, kayaks and paddle boats. I would camp here again. The only negative was that electric bikes are becoming common, and some can be loud. When it's more than a quiet whir, it can remind you of the sounds you went camping to leave behind!

Campground is very nice. Roads and campsites are narrow. Plan for more time to park your camper given the narrow layout.

Campsite #46 is spacious and a little more private, with a nook and stream in back. It does not have much shade at all from about 10 AM until the sun sets over the mountain ridge so plan accordingly (we thought it was shaded). Enjoyed our site otherwise.
