Lost Creek Campground offers a beautiful and serene environment, with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts. Many visitors enjoyed the scenic views, abundant wildlife, and great fishing opportunities nearby. However, some encountered issues with campsite closures due to flooding, maintenance concerns, and the lack of shade in certain areas, which impacted their overall experience.

Several items:
1) the trash was not picked up soon enough
2) TP in restroom was empty many times
3) there are three places along the loop with huge pot holes. I’ve been coming to Lost Creek for years and these holes have never been repaired.
At $24 per night, the US Forest Service should address these issues

We love this campground and have been coming here for years. We arrived at 9 pm the first night of our reservation and the camp host had given away one of our sites. The squatters was a cute family with little kids and we didn't want to force them out after 9 when they were fully set up and getting to bed. It was a terrible situation. Luckily, we were tent camping in that site and could easily put our tent up in the other site we had reserved as well. However, I think this experience can be summed up in the words of Jerry Seinfeld. "You see, you know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them." Next time, I hope there's a camp host there who understands what a reservation really is.
