Nearly constant truck traffic (mostly gravel, but some logging) significantly detracted from our enjoyment of this camp ground. The heavy truck traffic also resulted in the access road (from Highway #35) being quite wash boarded. The facilities were clean and it was nice to get out of SLC's heat. But the noise and dust from the truck traffic made it a less enjoyable experience!

Site #3 on the website lists that this is a 30ft max trailer/RV vehicle length. This not even close to accurate. My family has a 19ft Travel Trailer and site#3 had only enough length available for half of the trailer and then no tow vehicle parking. This is not a suitable campsite for anything larger than a very small car and a 2 person tent. We contacted the Camp Host there in site, who was very pleasant with a great sense of humor, and she said to leave feedback on the website so future campers would not be is this situation. Recreation.gov was also contacted. I must say that Mill Hollow is a beautiful destination and the campground is nice. We did walk around to see the other sites and Just a heads up that several campsites that are listed for Trailers and Coaches, are not suitable for anything but cars and tents. Some of the campsites require some serious jack-knifing of your trailer at 90 to about 120 degrees, on the one-way road, so disconnect your weight distribution bars on your hitch. Happy Camping!
Site #3 should not even be listed as a campsite.

I really enjoyed Mill Hollow as a whole. The reservoir was great and close to the campsites. The camp hosts were also very nice.
The one thing keeping my from rating Mill Hollow higher was my individual campsite A9. It should be considered a picnic site. The area we were told we were supposed to be able to put our tents was filled with tree stumps. But not all were equal. The one below mine was huge and luckily for me my friend across the way had extra room so I put my tent there. My friends site could accommodate 3 tents. Mine managed to fit one very small tent but only in the driveway area.

Our campsite was awesome; private, clean and quiet. The camp host were friendly and helpful with directions. Great Weekend.

17-B is listed as "Full Shade" - this is incorrect. In general, there was little shade, but by moving around we were always able to find a shady spot to put our chairs. The table was NEVER in the shade so we didn't use it. The table's center board wasn't attached so if you leaned on one end the other end would pop up. 17-B is close to the campground host which can be handy if there is a problem, but they ran their generator about 75% of the time which greatly diminished the enjoyment of being up in the mountains. The dumpster was a little further up from the host site. We arrived on a Sunday and the dumpster was full. By the time we checked out on Tuesday, the bags of garbage were overflowing the dumpster. The bathrooms were a nice distance away - not too close, not too far. They were acceptable. 17-B is an easy walk to the lake which was great. The lake edge made for easy fishing (although we didn't catch anything). The site is next to a service road and a trail head, so the view in that direction is a bunch of signs; but when we sat over there (because it was the current shady spot) if you aimed your chairs in the right direction you had a nice view of the trees and mountains. You will definitely need bug spray and remember sunscreen because you burn easier at high altitude. If you're going down to the lake make sure you have sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat with a brim because the glare off the water can be killer. Don't forget to drink lots of water to avoid dehydration which can aggravate problems associated with being at high altitude (nausea, dizziness, light-headed, racing heartbeat, etc.) We will definitely return to Mill Hollow. We'd stay in 17-B again, but would try other sites first.

The placement of the boulders on the opposing side of road from campsite entrances makes backing My RV trailer more difficult and dangerous to get into the campsites. The campgrounds are set in one of
The most beautiful areas in the Uinta Mountain Range. The clean up of the campgrounds should occur prior to opening and the campground host should be the custodians to care for clean up and maintenance of Mill Hollow, my favorite in this forest.

We had a good experience at Mill Hollow. The campground was great until more people showed up which is to be expected. There were some people who drove in to their site at 3 am and proceeded to set up camp and make a lot of noise but obviously that is out of the state parks control. Everything was beautiful and the facilities were great.

We had such a lovely time as a family. We especially enjoyed paddle boarding and hiking and hiding and seeking.
