I cannot say enough good things about Smith and Morehouse campground! In addition to the spectacular surroundings, lovely sites and easy access to the lake, the hosts are the best in the business. They are naturals with the guests and clearly love being stewards to this slice of heaven. Our family loves to come every summer and we certainly look forward to seeing the fantastic hosts! Thanks for having us!!

The site was clean and beautiful. Tiny walk down to a pristine stream or a small hike to the reservoir that is breathtaking. The camp hosts were so kind and chill. The campground had such a good safe vibe too. The hosts had the cutest fairy garden for our kids to see at night. We will be back.

The hosts were very nice and helpful. The lake area was very crowded with people lined up along the shores. A picnic area would be nice so people would have a place to enjoy the area

This is a lovely, peaceful campground that sees little traffic and offers a really great stay. Dell and Deb, our camp hosts, are without question the best we’ve ever met at a national forest campground, and they made an already great experience even more memorable.

This campground is picturesque, easygoing, and rarely crowded. Dell and Deb, the camp hosts, are simply the finest we’ve encountered at any national forest site — their presence made the whole stay even better.
