Visitors appreciate the spaciousness, proximity to the river, and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities. However, some drawbacks include the lack of water, garbage disposal, and issues with bathroom cleanliness, which detract from the overall experience.

They didn't enforce the quiet hours policy at all. We had several groups together that played very loud music until way past midnight even though "quiet hours" say 10pm. Other than that we had a great time.

We love Soapstone. It is relatively close to home and we love the environment and taking walks around the campground. Out host Natalie was very friendly and pleasant. Soapstone is close to hikes in the Trial Lake area and we enjoy relaxing at camp afterwords. Our dog also loves the campground and knows it well enough to really enjoy it. We'll be back for sure.

No water, now no garbage cans in the campsite. They have removed all dump sites along the Mirror lake Highway as well. When will they do maintenance ad updates to these campgrounds???

Soapstone is always a good experience, so many cool little Hummingbirds to watch. Very friendly camp host too.

It's a nice campground, no complaints -- it is good for the intended users. My issues are mine alone. Camped in site 20, it is a plenty long enough for my 35 ft fifth wheel but the angle to get in and out was tricky. I had to go backwards down the one-way to make it work and try multiple times to get the angle. I wouldn't pick this site again for the tightness to get in. It also put the table on the non-door side of the RV. Overhead branches over the road would hit a full height fifth wheel's ac units. I was able to dodge branches with my slightly shorter mid-sized trailer. It's clear this campground isn't intended for large trailers, otherwise they would improve the angles to get in/out. It's a nice place for tent camping and shorter rigs.

We love Soapstone. It is always pleasant experience and a nice walk around the campground. It's always quiet and relaxing and our favorite go to spot close to the Salt Lake valley. It is a good base camp for day hikes in the Uintas.
