Trial Lake Campground offers stunning views of the lake and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for fishing, hiking, and relaxing. While some sites have maintenance issues and the lack of potable water is a concern, the campground remains clean, well-maintained, and features friendly hosts. Overall, visitors appreciate the natural beauty and tranquility of the area, despite minor inconveniences.

Best campground on the Mer Lake Highway, Shannon and Mindy doing an excellent job as campus. We always have a great time. They work hard to make sure that rules are followed and that you have a great experience thank you Shannon and Mindy will be back again as usual.

The fire pit is terrible and does not provide enough oxygen to keep a flame going. Used the neighboring fire pit without issue. 31's tent site is extremely close to 33's tent site. Tent site was relatively flat compared to others

Have been camping here for many years. It is getting more and more difficult to get reservations for the sites I like. It would really be nice to have water back in the campground. What do our fees pay for if not for repairs? Also would like the RV Dump Station in Soapstone to be repaired. Now we have to go into Kamas and pay $10 to dump and $5 to get water.

went to site 5 and it had a nice lakeside view! the location has vault toilets and dumpsters but no running water so plan accordingly.
went mid august and water was too cold to swim comfortably but ok for paddleboarding or kayaking

I love the quiet calmness of Trial Lake! It perfect to lay in the hammock, watch the bald eagles fish, take the paddle board around the lake.
