Trial Lake is a wonderful experience for those who want to have a great camping experience without the masses of people like the surrounding areas. It is peaceful and quiet. I recommend staying at Trial Lake.

We stayed at site #50 this week. It's a beautiful campground and site 50 was an amazing location right next to the water. It's perfect for a 2-4 person tent, probably not much larger. FYI it's not an RV site. The camp host seems really dedicated to keep things in order, including assuring people keep camp rules. I didn't find it overbearing and felt like it made things quieter / more peaceful.

Table and firepit not close to pad. Pad was narrow and short for a 21 ft trailer and truck. Also, the restroom odor was occasionally unpleasant.
